SEOMOZ: A clean design helps CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
DIGITAL ROKKET: Don't overload your home page with content! Determine your #1 objective and optimize the page for that goal.

SEOMOZ: Create a simple and clear message for the headline
DIGITAL ROKKET: Keep the phrase short, simple, and leave no room for interpretation. The reader should know the point within 5 seconds with no doubts about fine print or tricks. For example, look at the Try & Buy page we created for our client HEROware.

DIGITAL ROKKET: A Call-to-Action button should be eye-catching, have space around it so it's not lost on the page, and the message should be simple. One interesting result provided by the SEOMOZ study was that RED was more effective than GREEN for a button color!
